Geek Bar Lineup 2026: Pulse, Pulse X, Pulse 2, X2 and Mate 60K

Posted by Vigil Carter on 4th Aug 2026

The Geek Bar lineup now runs from 15,000 puffs to 60,000, across five devices and two different formats. Pulse, Pulse X, Pulse 2 25K, Pulse X2 50K, and the Mate 60K, which is not a disposable at all. If you walked in knowing you wanted a Geek Bar, that is now five separate decisions.

This guide covers the full current Geek Bar lineup we stock: what separates each device, which generation it belongs to, and which one fits which buyer. We have already published a Geek Bar Pulse X review and a Mate 60K review, so this piece stays on the comparison question rather than repeating either.

Geek Bar lineup at a glance

Five devices, two formats. The four Pulse models are sealed disposables you use and replace. The Mate 60K is a reusable battery with swappable pods. Pulse and Pulse X are the older generation, Pulse 2 25K and Pulse X2 50K are current, and the Mate is the newest format.

Flavors currently listed: Pulse 45, Pulse X 39, Pulse X2 50K 24, Pulse 2 25K 20, and 7 pod flavors for the Mate 60K. The original Pulse carries the widest flavor list in the lineup by a clear margin.

Every device in the lineup runs 5% (50 mg) salt nicotine, charges over USB-C, and uses a dual mesh coil.

Geek Bar Pulse vs Pulse X: what actually changed

The Pulse X roughly doubles the Pulse. It goes from 15,000 puffs to 25,000, from 16 mL to 18 mL, and from a 650 mAh battery to 820 mAh. It also adds adjustable airflow, which the base Pulse does not have, and upgrades the screen to a 3D curved LED.

Geek Bar Pulse disposable vape

The Geek Bar Pulse is the device that built the line. Its onboard screen showing battery and e-liquid level was genuinely uncommon at launch and is now standard across the whole lineup. Airflow is fixed rather than adjustable, which is the clearest sign of the older design.

The honest case for the original Pulse is that it is the cheapest way into the lineup and it carries the widest flavor selection in the range, 45 listed against 39 on the Pulse X. If you are buying for a specific flavor rather than for runtime, the Pulse is often where that flavor actually lives.

Geek Bar Pulse X disposable vape

The Pulse X is older generation but not obsolete. It matches the current Pulse 2 on puff count and beats it on e-liquid capacity, 18 mL against 16 mL. Full detail is in the Pulse X review.

Geek Bar Pulse 2 vs Pulse X2: the current generation

The Pulse 2 25K is a generational refresh, not a capacity upgrade. It runs the same 25,000 puffs as the Pulse X before it and actually holds less e-liquid, 16 mL against 18 mL. What it brings is a newer 0.8 ohm dual mesh coil and a domed full screen. The Pulse X2 50K is where the current generation actually stretches.

Geek Bar Pulse 2 25K disposable vape

This is the single most misread thing in the lineup. The "2" in Pulse 2 25K marks a new generation of the design, not a jump in capacity. If you expected a 25K device to be a straight upgrade over the 25K device that came before it, that is not what this is. What you are buying is the refresh in the mid-tier slot.

Geek Bar Pulse X2 50K disposable vape

The Pulse X2 50K is the flagship: up to 50,000 puffs regular and 25,000 in pulse mode, 18 mL, a 1,000 mAh USB-C fast-charge battery, a 0.6 ohm dual mesh coil, and the 3D curved Galaxy Cascade display.

Two specs deserve attention. The 0.6 ohm coil is the lowest resistance in the Pulse family, which is the hardware reason it behaves differently from the 0.8 ohm Pulse 2 rather than simply lasting longer. And fast charging matters more than it sounds on a device this size, because a 50,000 puff device gets recharged many times before it is finished.

Geek Bar Mate 60K kit vs Mate 60K pods

The kit is the first purchase and the pod is every purchase after. The Mate 60K kit contains a reusable 900 mAh battery plus one pod. The replacement pod is the refill and it does not work on its own. Buying a pod without already owning the battery leaves you with something you cannot use.

Geek Bar Mate 60K disposable kit

The Mate 60K kit runs up to 60,000 puffs regular and 30,000 in boost mode, on 15 mL per pod, with 1,100 mAh of total capacity across the system and an LED status display.

That structure changes the arithmetic. With a sealed disposable, every replacement is a whole new device, screen and battery included. With the Mate, you keep the battery and rebuy only the replacement pod, which is the cheaper half. At the time of writing the kit is $29.99 and a replacement pod is $19.99, so every refill after the first costs a third less than starting over with a new device. Our Mate 60K review covers the device on its own.

Geek Bar Mate 60K and Foger Switch Pro cross-compatibility

The Mate 60K and the Foger Switch Pro share the same magnetic dock, and pods from either system fit either battery. We tested both directions in store rather than taking anyone's word for it.

A Geek Bar Mate 60K pod seats and fires on a Foger Switch Pro battery. A Foger Switch Pro pod seats and fires on a Mate 60K battery. The connection is the same magnetic dock layout and the airflow lines up, so there is no adapter and no modification involved.

What to actually expect when you mix them. It works, and it is not identical to running a pod on its own battery. Cross-run on a higher output setting, the first pulls hit harder. The trade is at the other end: coil life tends to come up short of a same-brand pairing, and flavor can flatten toward the end of the pod rather than staying consistent to the last few hundred puffs. Neither system is tuned for the other's coil, and that is where it shows.

Who this actually helps. If you already own either battery, you have two pod ranges available instead of one. That is 7 Mate flavors plus the full Foger Switch Pro list, on hardware you already paid for. It also means a flavor being out of stock in one range does not strand you.

Our advice is unglamorous: for the longest coil life and the most consistent flavor, run same-brand. For flavor variety, a stronger draw, or when your usual pod is unavailable, mixing is a real option and it works.

Which Geek Bar is best for you

Short answer: Pulse for flavor selection and lowest entry price, Pulse X for adjustable airflow at 25K, Pulse 2 for the current-generation coil and screen, Pulse X2 50K for maximum runtime, and the Mate 60K kit if you vape consistently and want the rebuy cost to drop.

  • Buy the Pulse if you want the lowest entry price or you are chasing a specific flavor. It carries the widest flavor list in the lineup, 45 against 39 on the Pulse X, and the flavor you actually want beats a spec sheet you will never notice.
  • Buy the Pulse X if you want adjustable airflow and 18 mL at the 25K tier. Older generation is not the same as worse, and it holds more e-liquid than the newer Pulse 2.
  • Buy the Pulse 2 25K if you want the current-generation 0.8 ohm coil and screen without paying for 50K of runtime you will not finish.
  • Buy the Pulse X2 50K if runtime is the point. It is the longest-running sealed disposable in the lineup, with the lowest-resistance coil and the fastest charging.
  • Buy the Mate 60K kit if you vape consistently and expect to keep rebuying. The battery is a one-time cost and the pods are the recurring one.
  • Do not buy the Mate 60K pod on its own unless you already own the kit.

What is the newest Geek Bar?

The Mate 60K is the newest format and the Pulse X2 50K is the newest sealed disposable. The Mate is the first Geek Bar in this lineup to separate the battery from the e-liquid, and at up to 60,000 puffs it carries the highest rating of anything here. The Pulse X2 50K is the newest and largest of the traditional disposables.

Every Geek Bar flavor, by device

Flavor availability can change over time. Some Geek Bar flavors may be discontinued, renamed, temporarily out of stock, or difficult to find even when they still appear in the broader product lineup. Check each live product page for the most current selection.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Geek Bar Pulse and the Pulse X?
The Pulse X roughly doubles the Pulse: 25,000 puffs against 15,000, 18 mL against 16 mL, and an 820 mAh battery against 650 mAh. The Pulse X also adds adjustable airflow, which the Pulse does not have.

Is the Pulse 2 better than the Pulse X?
Not in capacity. Both run up to 25,000 puffs in regular mode, and the Pulse X actually holds more e-liquid, 18 mL against 16 mL. The Pulse 2 brings a newer 0.8 ohm dual mesh coil and the current screen. It is a generational refresh at the same tier rather than a step up from it.

Which Geek Bar lasts the longest?
The Mate 60K, rated up to 60,000 puffs in regular mode. Among sealed disposables, the Pulse X2 50K is the longest at up to 50,000.

Do I need the Mate 60K kit or just the pod?
Start with the kit. It includes the reusable battery and a pod. The pod on its own is a refill for a battery you already own and will not work without it.

Why does pulse or boost mode cut the puff count in half?
Because it draws more power per puff. Every device here shows the same pattern: 15,000 becomes 7,500, 25,000 becomes 15,000, 50,000 becomes 25,000, and 60,000 becomes 30,000. The headline number always assumes regular mode. Our guide to boost mode on disposable vapes explains the tradeoff.

Are Geek Bar puff counts guaranteed?
No. They are manufacturer ratings measured under their own test conditions. How you vape and which mode you run both move the real number. Treat them as a way to rank devices against each other rather than a promise.

Which Geek Bar has the most flavors?
The original Pulse, with 45 flavors listed against 39 on the Pulse X, 24 on the Pulse X2 50K and 20 on the Pulse 2 25K. Flavor lineups change as stock moves, so the live list on each product page is the answer that will still be right next month.

Where to buy the Geek Bar lineup

All six are on our shelves. The Pulse, Pulse X, Pulse 2 25K and Pulse X2 50K are sealed disposables. The Mate 60K kit and its replacement pods are the reusable option.

Current price, current flavor list and current stock all live on the product pages, which is where those change first. To see how the Geek Bar lineup sits against everything else on the shelf, browse the full disposable vapes category or our roundup of the best disposable vapes in Michigan.
