Geek Bar Pulse X Review: The Smart Vape Everyone Is Talking About
The Geek Bar Pulse X is a real-screen, dual-mode, 25,000-puff disposable that costs $24.99 on sale at Inline Vape (down from $27.99). It's part of the wave of "smart vapes" — single-use devices with onboard displays and adjustable settings that used to live only on refillable mods. Geek Bar makes some of the most popular disposables in the world, and the Pulse line is the reason why.
This review covers the Pulse X in detail, compares it head-to-head with its smaller sibling the Geek Bar Pulse Disposable, and tells you who should buy which (and who should look at the Breeze Prime instead). Specs are pulled from geekbar.com and current Inline Vape product pages.
The TL;DR
The Geek Bar Pulse X is the most fully featured disposable on the shelf at this price point. 25,000 puffs in regular mode (or 15,000 in pulse mode), 18mL of 5% nicotine salt e-liquid, dual mesh coils, adjustable airflow, USB-C charging, and a 3D curved LED screen showing real-time battery and e-liquid levels. The Pulse Disposable does most of the same things at a smaller scale (15,000 / 7,500 puffs) for $22.99 ($40 for two). If the screen and the higher puff count don't matter to you, the standard Pulse is the better value. If they do, the Pulse X is worth the extra dollars and then some.

What the Pulse X Does Well
The screen is the real upgrade. The 3D curved LED display shows you battery percentage and e-liquid level in real time. After using it for a few days you stop thinking about it — and that's the point. No more guessing whether your device will make it through the workday. No more device dying mid-puff when you needed one most. It's a small feature with an outsized impact on day-to-day usability.
Dual mesh coils stay consistent deep into the device's life. Plenty of high-puff disposables go flat by puff number 15,000. The Pulse X doesn't. The dual mesh coil setup gives more surface area in contact with the e-liquid, which keeps flavor delivery consistent from the first puff to the last and reduces the burnt-taste risk as the e-liquid level drops.
Adjustable airflow lets you actually customize it. Most disposables make this decision for you. The Pulse X gives you a dial — tighter for a cigarette-like mouth-to-lung draw, more open for a cooler direct-to-lung pull. If you've been on refillable mods and miss being able to dial in your draw, this is the disposable that brings that feature back without the device-cleaning hassle.
Two modes, real difference between them. Regular mode runs at lower power — quieter draws, smaller clouds, longer total puff count. Pulse mode hits harder — more vapor, more flavor saturation per draw, fewer total puffs. Switch between them depending on whether you're vaping at your desk or sitting outside with friends. Most disposables that advertise dual modes treat it as a marketing line; on the Pulse X the difference is genuinely felt.
USB-C charging, not the slower micro-USB. Same cable as your phone (assuming you're not on lightning). 15-30 minute top-up is enough to finish whatever e-liquid is left in the device.
Where the Pulse X Has Trade-offs (And Some Worthy Competitors)
This is an honest review, so we're not going to pretend it's flawless — or that it has the category to itself.
The screen is glass. Drop the device on concrete and the screen can crack or stop displaying. The vape itself usually still works — you just lose the battery and e-liquid readout. Worth carrying it in a pocket without keys.
Pulse mode burns through e-liquid fast. If you leave it in pulse mode all day, you're getting 15,000 puffs instead of 25,000 — that's a 40% reduction in total device life. Switch back to regular mode when you don't need the extra hit, otherwise you're not getting the full puff count Geek Bar advertises on the box.
Flavor sprawl is overwhelming. 39 flavors is a lot. Across the lineup there are five different "Sour" flavors, six "Slush" variants, three different mints. If you're a one-flavor-forever vaper, this isn't a problem. If you're new to Geek Bar, expect to spend time figuring out which one is your go-to.
It's not the only smart-vape or high-puff option anymore. The Pulse X used to stand alone in this category — that's no longer true in 2026. Plenty of devices now compete on high puff counts and dual-mode operation. The RAZ LTX Dew 50K hits 50,000 puffs with three power modes (Normal/Boost/Super Boost) and an LED display. The RAZ LTX 25K matches the Pulse X's puff count and adds a 1.77 inch animated HD screen plus a wattage adjustment button. The Foger Switch Pro Kit delivers 30,000 puffs in normal mode (18,000 in boost) with an OLED display, adjustable airflow, and a swappable pod system. And the Mr. Vapor Arctic takes the puff-count crown for non-hookah devices at 30,000 with a triple mesh coil. Each one solves the same problem the Pulse X solves — long-life, feature-rich disposable — with a slightly different angle. Worth a look if any of those specific specs (power modes, modular pods, triple coil, max puff count) matter more to you than the Pulse X's screen and airflow combination.
Geek Bar Pulse X vs Geek Bar Pulse Disposable
The standard Geek Bar Pulse Disposable is the device that built the smart-vape category. It does most of what the Pulse X does, in a smaller form factor, for less money — and it can be picked up 2 for $40 ($20 each) at Inline Vape, which makes the value comparison interesting.
| Spec | Pulse X | Pulse Disposable |
|---|---|---|
| Puff count (regular) | 25,000 | 15,000 |
| Puff count (pulse mode) | 15,000 | 7,500 |
| E-liquid | 18mL | 16mL |
| Battery | 820mAh USB-C | 650mAh USB-C |
| Coil | Dual mesh | Dual mesh |
| Adjustable airflow | Yes | No |
| Display | 3D curved LED | Onboard screen (battery + e-liquid) |
| Flavors | 39 | 45 |
| Price | $24.99 sale | $22.99 (or 2 for $40) |
| Puffs per dollar | ~1,000 | ~750 (or 750 at 2-for-$40) |
On paper, the Pulse X wins on puff count, e-liquid capacity, battery, screen quality, and adjustable airflow. On price-per-puff math, both come out about the same — the Pulse X gets ~1,000 puffs per dollar, the Pulse at the 2-for-$40 deal gets ~750. Where the standard Pulse Disposable wins is the flavor catalog (45 vs 39) and that 2-for-$40 stockup deal.
The bigger choice is feature set. If adjustable airflow doesn't matter to you, the standard Pulse is more than enough vape. If you want every feature in the smart-vape playbook plus the highest puff count of any single Geek Bar device, the Pulse X is the right pick.
All Available Pulse Disposable Flavors: Blue Razz Ice, Berry Bliss, Dragon Melon, Sour Apple Blow Pop, Fcuking Fab, Grape Blowpop, Orange Creamsicle, California Cherry, Frozen Cherry Apple, Frozen Pina Colada, Frozen Blackberry Fab, Juicy Peach, Strawberry Banana, Crazy Melon, Cherry Bomb, Miami Mint, Blueberry Watermelon, Mexican Mango, Sour Apple Ice, Sour Cranapple, Drop Sour Savers, Wild Berry Savers, White Gummy Ice, OMG B-Burst, Pineapple Savers, Orange Mint Savers, Strawberry Savers, Stone Mintz, Black Mintz, Watermelon Ice, Raspberry Watermelon, Punch, Banana Ice, Peach Lemonade, Strawberry Kiwi, Sour Blue Dust, Sour Strawberry, Sour Gush, Black Cherry, Pink Lemonade, B-Burst, Tropical Rainbow Blast, Cool Mint, Strawberry Mango, Sour Watermelon Drop.
Pulse X vs Breeze Prime: A Brief Note
Some buyers cross-shop the Pulse X against the Breeze Prime. They're solving different problems.
The Breeze Prime is a 6,000-puff, $22.99 disposable with a mesh coil, draw-activated firing, and a five-circle battery indicator. No screen. No dual modes. No adjustable airflow. It's the easy-mode disposable: simple to use, low maintenance, smooth flavor.
The Geek Bar Pulse X is the maximalist disposable. Screen, dual modes, adjustable airflow, dual mesh coils, 25K puffs. More features, more options, more puffs.
If you're switching from cigarettes and want the most familiar, no-thought experience, the Breeze Prime wins. If you've been vaping for a while and you want a real feature set in a single-use device, the Pulse X wins. The price difference between them is $2 — pick the one that matches how you actually want to use it.
